Can anyone explain to me the difference between "Digital Art - using photography" and "Alternative process" photography?  These are two different catagories are listed in a competition I would like to enter and I don't know which catagory to put some of my photos?  They say that "Digital Art" is for artworks created entirely using computer hardware and software, or for digital photographs or scanned images that have been manipulated using computer software. Hey, is anyone else having trouble viewing the art/photos DA friends work?  For three months I have gone to my DA Artwork page of the artists I am watching and if I click on anything and comment and fave --  I can't get back to that page by hitting the back arrow -- I have to go back to my profile page and then click the DA art watcher page again -- two clicks extra to flip through all the artwork?  What up?  It makes me give up looking at art/photos.  Anyone else?  Also, very, very, slow responses to all submissions to big groups??? Days and days of waiting for "Sunsets" or "Sky" to "approve" my submission?  Is anyone else experiencing this

Happy New Year!  Let's have some fun in the New Year and do something new!  Let's pretend that a friend asked me (or you) to work with them on a fashion studio shoot.  This hypothetical could turn to reality!  They like my landscape photos and I have a nice camera -  Nikon D7000, right?  But a fashion shoot in a studio is something entirely different/foreign to me.  Sure, I have some creative ideas and I would be working with a stylist and an art director.  This is all hypothetical of course. :)  But if you were me and you had a Nikon D7000 with a couple of regular lenses -- what else would you buy/rent if you could buy/rent any equipment you
